The Frequence team is as diverse as our vibrant Bay Area community. Last year, we found ourselves wondering: How could we give back? After putting our heads together about the causes closest to our hearts, we found a shared passion for issues relating to educational inequality. That’s how we discovered Spark* SF Public Schools.
Spark* is an amazing non-profit organization dedicated to making sure that every San Francisco public school student receives the quality instruction and equitable support they need to thrive in the 21st century. From closing the opportunity gap for minority students to funding innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs, Spark* works tirelessly to bring their vision to life.
The challenge: What could Spark* do to reach individuals in the community? Spark* has many fruitful corporate partnerships, but they weren’t sure how to connect with and involve their neighbors.
Enter Frequence. With our targeting capabilities and creative resources, we launched a large-scale enrollment campaign for San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). This included a series of display ads and a cross-platform video to encourage local parents to apply for the 2021 school year.
But another challenge faces the district: distance learning has widened the academic gap for many students, and SFUSD needs the support of the community to return to the classroom. Through a strategic email fundraising campaign, Frequence is helping Spark* connect with hundreds of thousands of Bay Area residents to raise money for their Return Safely Fund.

We’re so excited to see how we can continue to lend our advertising expertise to help Spark* provide technology, food, and mentoring programs for the students in our community. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a rewarding long-term partnership.
Join us in tackling educational inequality by donating to Spark’s valuable programs.
